Free Letter E Lesson Plans

We’re super EGGcited about Letter E this week! Within each activity there so many opportunists to talk about different subjects; the life cycle of an egg, the parts of an egg, different kinds of egg and the unique properties of the egg shell. Teach up or down, talk about math, incorporate sensory experiences… tailor these lessons to your own taste!

Remember, starting off with a great book is always a fun and interesting way to introduce a concept. Green Eggs and Ham is always a crowd favorite. Ask them to describe the shell – Color, Feel, Look, Smell. Then, crack the egg open and have them describe the INSIDE. Talk about the parts of an egg – the shell, the yolk and the egg white.
