Cotton Candy Grapes

Cotton Candy Grapes

Apparently August and September are the season for Cotton Candy Grapes! Had anyone tried them yet? They’re by hybridizing two different grape species (non-GMO) and took 100,000 attempts at different combinations before they came up with the right one.

We’ve had them a couple times now. Ryan and I absolutely love them. They don’t particularly smell like cotton candy, but they have a very sweet cotton candy like flavor that makes for a perfect treat!

We paid about $6 for a 2lb carton… not too bad!

Now I’m just waiting for the Cotton Candy Grape Wine ;)

Where in the Pittsburgh area, did you find them?

We bought some last week at the Giant Eagle Market District in Wexford… they tend to go quickly!
