  • REI’s Climbing Wall: 1:00 pm – 2:30pm, Visit any REI store in Pittsburgh for an afternoon of adventure and socialization. REI’s highly trained staff and non-competitive climbing environment ensures that parents and tots alike will bond during a morning of climbing and games. This program is free of charge but limited to REI members only, lifetime membership is $20

  • Sharks After Dark at The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium: Join shark specialists for this unique overnight experience.  Participants will learn all about these deep sea predators, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Members $56 (includes one child and one adult) and each additional child or adult is $28, Non-members $72 (includes one child and one adult) and each additional child or adult is $36, Register online at http://pittsburghzoo.com/Education/ChildAndFamilyPrograms/WildlifeAcademy/FamilyOvernights

  • Children’s Theater presents Time for Fun: 2:00pm, Byham Theater, appropriate for ages 3 and up, Performers create a captivating–and quite unique–magical world. Wonderfully choreographed, hands and arms interlock and entwine to create trains, sailboats, ticking clocks, flocks of birds and more. With clever lighting design, the limbs dance in space and assemble into recognizable shapes and words.
