Curious Little Kid goes to Sky Zone

Curious Little Kid goes to Sky Zone

So glad we were able to cross this off our bucket list! Sky Zone (Leetsdale, PA) is a dream play place to exhaust a little extra energy.

What is Sky Zone?

Sky Zone is the original trampoline park and the one place where it is totally acceptable to have bouncing-off-the-walls fun! The trampoline park offers open jump, a Foam Zone, 3-D Dodgeball (when available) and the SkySlam basketball court, all equipped for extreme amounts of fun! Not only is jumping an awesome way to have fun, it’s a great way to stay fit!

The unique park welcomes those of all ages, sizes, and shapes. From 3-D Dodgeball to the ‘sky-high’ birthday parties and corporate events, there’s definitely something to for everyone!

Our Visit

( Be sure to check out our pictures below!)

We arrived 30 minutes early (as suggested on the website) to check in, fill out a waiver and get our pair of nifty Sky Zone shoes (like bowling shoes, only cooler). We were one of two groups waiting but eventually about a dozen other children trickled in.

We participated in the 60 minute Toddler Time (for children 5 and under). While only one court area was available for use, all the children seemed to have a blast.

The staff talked to them before they went in: only one child per square and no running. After they were briefed, it was time to go! During Toddler Time, parents are allowed to watch and sit on the sides but are not able to participate (I was bummed, next time we’re going to Open Jump).

The session lasted 60 minutes. Most children stopped a few times to take a break and get a drink. The time went by quickly, many lasted until the very end.

Toddler Time: For the 5 years of age and under crowd

Sky Mania: Jumpers must be 10-15 years of age in order to participate.

Sky Jam: Jumpers must be 16 years of age and over in order to participate .

SkyRobics: Moms and Dads, let the kids play during the “Open Jump” time and head over to Skyrobics! It’s a high calorie burning activity that combines calisthenics, core exercises and strength building aerobics.

Open Jump: Most courts are open for all ages. I talked to a staff member and she said they try to keep a separate area open for the “little guys.” This is a great time to take your kids and participate in the fun!
